The lithium-Ion business segment operates under the EAS brand and provides cells and systems based on safe and proven LFP chemistry. The adopted cylindrical cells technology and the modular-based packing approach of the battery and systems allows EAS to maintain its attractive product range of High Power (HP) batteries for selected industries such as:

  • public transport
  • commercial fleet
  • construction machines
  • marine
  • harbour
  • and airport operations

August 2012, Monthly Results

Financial

In August, 2012 Monbat Plc and Monbat Recycling EAD have generated consolidated net sales revenues in the amount of BGN 17 412 000 which represents a decrease of 4 % compared to the consolidated net sales revenues, generated by Monbat Plc and Monbat Recycling in August 2011.
The summarized data forthe first eight months of 201 2 show that Monbat Plc and Monbat Recycling EAD have generated consolidated net sales revenues in the amount of BGN 120 388 000 which represents a 10 % decrease compared to the consolidated netsales revenues, generated by Monbat Plc and Monbat Recycling EAD for the same period of 2011.
The generated net sales revenues forthe first eight months of 2012 in the amount of BGN 120 388000 are allocated as follows:

The generatedconsolidated profit before taxes of Monbat Plc and Monbat Recycling EAD for August, 2012 is BGN 1 092 000, which represents a profit decrease of 11 % compared to the consolidated profit, generated by Monbat Plc and Monbat Recycling EAD in August 2011.
The summarized data forthe first eight months of 2012 show that Monbat Plc and Monbat Recycling EAD have generated profit in the amountof BGN 7 254 000 , which represents a profit decreaseof 48 % compared to the consolidatedprofit, generated by Monbat Plc and Monbat Recycling EAD for the same period of 2011.
