EAS participates in the NASA battery workshop at Huntsville between November 19-21. Michael Deutmeyer, Dr. Stephan Horras, and Dr. Klaus Brandt from EAS Batteries GmbH, part of Monbat Economic Group, talk about EAS unique electrode production technology, its extreme sturdy cell design that even withstands 10,000 g shocks.
In addition to this the presentation highlights EAS’ current battery development for ESA/AVIO for the current VEGA launcher as well as the novel cell design ideas that will dramatically enhance energy and also power density for on a cell pack level for future space and aerospace applications.
