Monbat AD has announced the 2018 audited consolidated financial report

As at 31.12.2018 MONBAT AD generated consolidated net sales revenues in the amount of BGN 293 731 000 which represents 5,96 % decrease compared to the consolidated net sales revenues generated in 2017 in the amount of BGN 312 350 000.
The generated sales revenues on the domestic market on a consolidated basis in 2018 were in the amount of BGN 25 811 000 (the generated consolidated sales revenues on the domestic market include technological waste and scrap, and materials and other goods sold to other related parties) and represent 8.79 % of the total sales, and the generated consolidated revenues from abroad including intra-community supplies were in the amount of BGN 267 920 000 and represents 91.21 % of the net sales revenues of the Group.
For the period 01.01.2018 – 31.12.2018 major market for the Group was France with EUR 20 787 000 sales revenues which represents 15.17 % of the total consolidated revenues from abroad of the company on a consolidated basis.
As at 31.12.2018 MONBAT AD generated consolidated profit before taxes in the amount of BGN 978 000 which represents 97.11 % decrease compared to the consolidated profit before taxes generated for 2017 in the amount of BGN 33 814 000.
The consolidated net profit of MONBAT AD as at 31.12.2018 is in the amount of BGN 300 000 and reports 98.99 % decrease compared to the consolidated net profit of the company for 2017 which is in the amount of BGN 29 835 000.
The period 2019 – 2023 will be a new stage and a new approach will be used for the Group to enter the target markets through a hybrid strategy for growth (production and distribution), as well as to create conditions for specialization in three categories: products derived from the recycling activities of the company, carried out by the subsidiaries of Monbat AD ; adoption of new technologies for the production of batteries and increase the number of product and technology solutions in the field of energy management.
The group of Monbat will use its financial strength and excellent relations with customers in 64 countries, to enrich its portfolio of products and services and meet new emerging trends in the battery industry.
