Monbat AD Presented at the Scientific Conference “Sofia Electrochemical Days 2024”

Corporate

The company introduces the certified laboratory MG Lab and the empirical tests with carbon nanotubes manufactured by A.R.T. Monbat

Being a long-term partner of the Institute of Electrochemistry and Energy Systems, Monbat is sponsoring the organisation of this-year scientific conference “Sofia Electrochemical Days 2024”, held in the Creative House of BAS in Varna, Bulgaria. More than 100 scientists and practicians from 12 countries are taking part in the conference.

Except the financial support,  the company is participating in the conference with scientific and practical project presentations related to the R&D activity of the companies in Monbat Group. The two presentations are unequivocal expression of the corporate philosophy – innovation and links to applied knowledge are the touchstone for market success.

Dipl. Eng. Valerii Pospelov, Head of MG Lab, presented the certified electro-physical laboratory in a presentation named “Lessons learnt from theory to practice”. He outlined the main tests and procedures held for testing of starter and industrial batteries daily manufactured in MG Lab. Today (Friday, 05th July) Ivaylo Traykov, PhD, … from A.R.T. Monbat will present “Effect of adding carbon nanotubes dispersion in negative active mass on the performance of stationary AGM lead-acid batteries”. He combines the work in A.R.T. Monbat with a tutor activity at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy in Sofia and presents current results of the application of nanotechnology in lead batteries in order to increase their efficiency and extend their life.
