Monbat celebrated its 60th anniversary with high spirits and a concert in Montana

On 23rd of September Monbat celebrated the 60th anniversary of the first production of batteries in Montana with a concert in the city’s central square. Visitors were entertained for more than two hours by popular songs by BTR. Young Montana singer Yoana Dimitrova opened the concert, preparing the audience for the show and performing well-known hits as well as her original songs.

The Procurator of Monbat AD, Mr. Petar Hristov, greeted residents and guests of Montana. He said:

I want to thank you all for being here with us today, and for the respect you are showing to Monbat. Our company is constantly developing. In terms of volume, we now produce in a mere month what took us a whole year at the beginning. Monbat is a company with a rich history in the city of Montana, and I want to assure you that our enterprise will continue to provide excellent conditions for work and development.

Montana’s mayor, Mr. Zlati Zhivkov, also congratulated the economic group on its anniversary, sharing:

The group is represented by two companies – Monbat and Monbat Recycling, in the Top 100 of the best heavy industry companies in Bulgaria for 2018. As one of the leading battery companies in Europe, Monbat is constantly expanding its position not only in the country but also in foreign markets.
