Monbat gets recognition from “The Greenest Companies in Bulgaria” competition

The Group was awarded in the category Green Investment for its project EASy Marine

Second Prize receives the certified LFP battery system developed by a company from Monbat Group in the 10th Jubilee edition of the Green Business Oscars. In the category Green Investment at the awarding ceremony, which was conducted on October 1st 2020 were also recognized Kaolin and Zaharni Zavodi.

The award in the contest The Greenest Companies in Bulgaria is for us a recognition of the efforts of all Monbat teams across Europe, as well as for the results they achieve. We are very happy that this prize comes now when EASy Marine completed its DNV-GL certification, says Dimitar Kostadinov, Executive director of Monbat AD.

EASy Marine is an innovation of EAS Batteries, part of Monbat Group, that allows the effective transition to an ecological maritime industry and, at the same time, enables fuel optimization, flexible adaptation to limited space architectures and reduction of the emissions. This battery system covers also the most important requirement – the safety on and under-water, because it is based on the cell chemistry considered to be extremely safe – the lithium iron phosphate (LFP).
