The lithium-Ion business segment operates under the EAS brand and provides cells and systems based on safe and proven LFP chemistry. The adopted cylindrical cells technology and the modular-based packing approach of the battery and systems allows EAS to maintain its attractive product range of High Power (HP) batteries for selected industries such as:

  • construction machines

Monbat reports consolidated results for Q2 2023

Financial

In the second quarter of 2023 the companies in the economic group of Monbat AD have generated consolidated net sales revenue from continuing operations in the amount of BGN 95 194 thousand, an increase of 0.5% to the consolidated net sales revenue for the same period of 2022.

In the first six months of 2023 the companies in the economic group of Monbat AD have generated consolidated net sales revenue from continuing operations in the amount of BGN 198 438 thousand, an increase of 6.6% to the consolidated net sales revenue for the first six months of 2022.

The generated net sales revenue from continuing operations for the first six months of 2023 in the amount of BGN 198 438 thousand is broken down as follows:

The consolidated normalized EBITDA from continuing operations of the companies in the economic group of Monbat AD for Q2 2023 stands at BGN 9 411 thousand, which represents an increase of 78.5% compared to the same period of 2022.

The consolidated normalized EBITDA from continuing operations of the companies in the economic group of Monbat AD for the first six months of 2023 stands at BGN 18 091 thousand, which represents an increase of 2.9% compared to the consolidated normalized EBITDA from continuing operations for the same period of 2022.

In Q2 2023 the companies in the economic group of Monbat AD have generated net loss from continuing and discontinued operations in the amount of BGN 1 210 thousand, which represents a decrease in the financial result of 5.7% compared to the generated net loss for the same period of 2022.

In the first six months of 2023 the companies in the economic group of Monbat AD have generated net profit from continuing and discontinued operations in the amount of BGN 5 314 thousand, which represents an increase of 13.8% compared to the generated net profit for the same period of 2022.
