A national strategic meeting for local distributors held at Monbat

Corporate

Last week, Monbat gathered key representatives from its distribution network at a meeting to discuss the strategic goals and the general vision for the development of the brand in 2023 and specifically on the Bulgarian market.

Monbat has established strong market position in all country regions, and the goal for the next 12 months includes maintaining and expanding market share, further strengthening relationships with official partners and distributors, conducting constant bilateral dialogue and developing the main product segments.

Monbat Product Manager, Radostin Simeonov, presented new products and technological solutions, emphasizing the specific business benefits, both for light vehicles and heavy-duty vehicles. He noted:

The market for conventional starter batteries is expected to expand up to 2% in the short term, with batteries from the AGM and EFB ranges taking up an increasing share of total sales. This is because more and more cars have a Start/Stop system. Globally, growth expectations for AGM and EFB batteries are between 10-15% and 5-10% respectively. That is why at Monbat we are constantly working to improve these batteries’ ranges so they can meet the modern needs of the market.
Increasing vehicle numbers, longer life expectancy and longer vehicle retention continue to fuel the growth of the starter battery aftermarket globally, and Bulgaria is also following this trend,

Mr. Simeonov added.
