The lithium-Ion business segment operates under the EAS brand and provides cells and systems based on safe and proven LFP chemistry. The adopted cylindrical cells technology and the modular-based packing approach of the battery and systems allows EAS to maintain its attractive product range of High Power (HP) batteries for selected industries such as:

  • commercial fleet
  • construction machines
  • marine
  • harbour
  • and airport operations

Dear Investors,

In October, 2018 the companies in the economic group of Monbat AD have generated consolidated net sales revenues in the amount of BGN 32 608 000 which represents a decrease by 5.20  %  compared to the consolidated net sales revenues generated in October, 2017. 

The summarized data for the first ten months of 2018 show that the companies in the economic group of Monbat AD have generated consolidated net sales revenues in the amount of BGN 246 195 000 which represents a decrease by 6.2 % compared to the consolidated net sales revenues for the same period of 2017.

The generated consolidated profit from operations before taxes of the companies in the economic group of Monbat AD for October, 2018 is BGN 1 962 000 which represents a profit decrease by 41 % compared to the generated consolidated profit before taxes for October, 2017.

The summarized data for the first ten months of 2018 show that the companies in the economic group of Monbat AD have generated profit from operations before taxes in the amount of BGN 8 146 000, which represents a profit  decrease by 62.30 % compared to the generated consolidated profit before taxes for same period of 2017.

In October, 2018 the companies in the economic group of Monbat AD have reached EBITDA from operations in the amount of BGN 3 589 000 which represents a decrease by 25 % compared to the achieved in October, 2017.

The summarized data for the first ten months of 2018 show that the companies in the economic group of Monbat AD have reached EBITDA from operations in the amount of BGN 25 690 000 which represents a decrease  by 27.30 % compared to same period of 2017.

Important Note: EBITDA and profit before taxes for the comparative period of 2017 are adjusted downwards with:

∙ 2 350 000 BGN representing the ten mounts period of 2017 effect stemming from the correction of the accounting error with respect to the non-elimination of intragroup profit on unrealized inventory. More details about the accounting error could be found in the consolidated audited financial report of Monbat as at 31.12.2017

∙ 1 957 000 BGN with respect to the effect on the ten mounts period of 2017 comparative figures coming from the lack of government subsidy in Monbat Recycling Serbia. The expected subsidy was initially accounted in the Consolidated Financial Statements of Monbat AD for 2017 but was consequently reversed due to the occurrence of adjusting subsequent events which are described in more detail in the consolidated audited financial report of Monbat as at 31.12.2017
