Monbat AD was the main sponsor of the 8th edition of the festival “Art is…”
After a break due to the pandemic in 2020, but with an incendiary “compensation” in 2021 – the festival “Art is…” gathered again world-famous rock stars on the open stage in the central square “Zheravitsa” in Montana. Traditionally, the festival supports a noble cause, and this year it was focused in several areas – introducing children from the city to different art forms, meeting with artists and helping disadvantaged people.
The scene got narrow for the huge energy that Ronnie Romero and Jeff Scott Soto aroused together with their Bulgarian friends from Eridan. The audience enjoyed new original and classic songs by Rainbow, White Snake, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and other legendary bands. The atmosphere was warmed up by local bands and the amazing young singer Maggie Alexandrova, who opened the show with a brilliant interpretation of “Love of My Life” / Queen. The finale put the main inspirer and organizer of the festival – Nelian Nikolova – who sent the audience home with a splendid opera version of “Who Wants to Live Forever”.
At the very end of the concert, Johnny GIoeli joined online, and although failing to arrive for this year’s edition, he assured the fans that in 2022 he will be a guest with the legendary drummer Dean Castronovo.
Traditionally, Monbat AD supports the festival as part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, identifying the support of local communities as an important part of the efforts for the region’s development. This year, members of the company’s team volunteered for the logistics organization of the event. Next year Monbat AD intends to be the main sponsor of the festival again.
