MONBAT Energy Completes a Key Energy Storage Project in Bulgaria

Corporate

MONBAT Energy has reached an important milestone with the successful completion of a notable energy storage project in Bulgaria, further strengthening its presence in the rapidly evolving energy storage market.

The newly installed system delivers a total nominal power of 312.5 kW and a battery storage capacity of 1,300 kWh. Designed for energy arbitrage, the system is charged entirely with electricity generated by a photovoltaic power plant, enabling renewable energy to be stored and used more strategically.

By combining photovoltaic generation with battery energy storage, the project demonstrates how storage technologies can support more flexible and efficient energy management. The solution allows energy produced during periods of generation to be retained and deployed at a more suitable time, helping optimise the use of renewable electricity in response to energy demand and market conditions.

The successful implementation marks an important step in MONBAT Energy’s development in Bulgaria and reflects the company’s focus on delivering practical, future-oriented solutions in the field of energy storage and intelligent energy management.

The project further strengthens MONBAT Energy’s growing portfolio of battery energy storage solutions and supports the company’s ambition to contribute to a more flexible, efficient and sustainable energy system.
